JUANE
Juane is one of the main typical dishes of the gastronomy of the Peruvian jungle and is widely consumed during the San Juan Festival, wich is celebrated on June 24 of each year in honor of Juan Bautista.
The Juane woulld have been a food usually prepared for travelers since they could be stored for a long time witout suffering alteration due to its descomposition.
The Juane is made from rice, chicken pieces; all of this is wrapped in "bijao leaf" and later it is put to boil.
MY EATING HABITS
In the morning, I have breakfast a cup of coffee and a chicken or ham sandwich. I sometimes have "tacacho" and a cup of coffee, too.
I have lunch at home with my mom. We usually have lunch at 1:30 pm and my mom cooks.
For dinner, I often have a ham sandwinch with papaya juice.
